It was a busy week at the Solar Business headquarters last week as we kicked off our United Way campaign and celebrated Halloween.

During the week, we had a series of different activities to help raise money for the United Way. We held a bake sale, had our annual parking auction, and took part in more physical activities, including a basketball shootout and a charity running race.

All of our runners, ready to take their mark!

The sun came out just in time for the race. There was a total of 13 people that took part in the 3-lap race. The racers were divided up based on their estimated times. All of our runners did an amazing job with times ranging between 3:10 and 5:26! Thanks to everyone who ran and to those that cheered the racers on!!

On Friday, we celebrated Halloween with a costume and pumpkin carving contest. Best costume went to Patrick Shaw for his Templar Knight costume, which he made entirely from beer tabs, and the best pumpkin went to Daivd, Robin, and Amrit. Thanks to everyone for participating!

The winners of the pumpkin carving contest – David Wong, Robin Truong, and Amrit Nagi
