The Conext™ Insight 2 platform has now received another set of updates. Conext™ Insight 2 is Schneider Electric’s powerful but intuitive cloud-based solar energy management platform for residential and commercial users. The new updates introduce a range of new features designed to improve the monitoring capabilities and to provide the user with more detailed insights regarding their energy production and usage. Conext™ Insight 2 works seamlessly with the Conext™ Gateway, and all supported downstream devices.
Here are the new features that we introduced in Conext™ Insight 2 :
Conext™ Insight 2 now comes with a powerful report generating tool that allows you to view and export detailed system performance reports as and when you need them. In addition to the existing capabilities of the reporting tool, users will be able to schedule automated reports via e-mail in the near future. The 3 reports we’ve added include:
Energy Yield Report –
The Energy Yield report allows you to see a comparison of the total energy produced and consumed by the system, for a single site, over different periods of time (daily / weekly / monthly / yearly).
Performance Summary Report –
This report allows you to see a summary of the overall performance of the system, allowing you to look at the total energy statistics of Load, Solar, Grid production and consumption, Charge Controller and the Inverter Charger. You can view reports for up to 5 devices simultaneously for the Charge Controllers and the Inverter Chargers while selecting different parameters for input or output measurement.
Consolidated Report –
This is a combined report consisting of data from the Energy Yield Report and the Performance Summary Report.
Advanced Site Analysis
You can now compare, device to device, the Solar production (Both Charge controllers & Grid Tied inverters) with the new Solar Production widget in Advanced Site Analysis. You can also see the environmental impact of the entire system with the help of the Environmental Footprint and the Environmental Contribution charts. These charts depict the positive impact the system is having on the environment by showing the amount of CO2 that has been avoided by switching over from traditional fossil fuels to solar, and how many new trees that equates to.
You can also see the lifetime energy input and output data, from all sources and loads, via the new widget.
