blog-post-img4An independent report conducted by DNV KEMA gave Schneider Electric’s PV Power Plant products, the Conext Core XC and the newly available Conext Core XC-NA, best-in-class reviews and positive ratings.

 

DNV KEMA, a global, leading authority in business and technical consultancy, conducted the assessment of the Conext Core XC and XC-NA design, technology, processes and servicing.

The report concluded that the overall product design and the benchmarks for reliability, manufacturing, quality control, support and servicing are “among the best in the PV inverter industry.

The report recognizes the strengths of Schneider Electric and breaks it down into several key areas:

Global solution with local support is “Major Asset”

DNV KEMA reviewed Schneider Electric’s complete solution, including the inverter, PV Box/skid, array box, grid-tie substation, and the Schneider Electric Conext Control monitoring product.

Our market adaptation process was found to be a “major asset” by DNV KEMA. The global reach of our organization allows locally required adjustments to be made closer to the customer, no matter how large or remote the installation site.

Manufacturing process “among the very best”

After reviewing our facility and manufacturing processes, DNV KEMA deemed Schneider Electric to be overall among the very best in the PV inverter industry. The report also noted that a number of key assembly steps of the AIC are exceptionally well implemented by Schneider Electric.

DNV KEMA evaluated Schneider Electric’s testing process and field history and determined that our reliability testing is industry leading. DNV KEMA was particularly impressed with our use of thermal imaging as a part of the Conext Core XC and XC-NA testing process to ensure that key components perform optimally.

Schneider Electric offers a range of warranty and services options for the Conext Core XC and XC-NA inverters on a global basis.

Schneider Electric’s Conext Core XC and XC-NA inverter products received a positive review from DNV KEMA. The overall design, design for reliability, manufacturing, quality, test, and support approach used by Schneider Electric were found to be among the best in the PV inverter industry.

The Conext Core XC Series is a new line of central inverters designed for high efficiency and flexibility for any PV panel type and installation. The Conext Core XC Series has peak efficiencies of 98.9% and its flexibility allows the inverter to be configured with voltage and power outputs up to 680 kW.
