42 teams from around the world took off at the start line at State Square in Darwin, Australia on October 18, to compete in the 2015 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge! Cruising in spectacular solar cars, the teams raced 3000km south to be the first to reach the official finish line in Adelaide.

The City of Adelaide Finish Line event took place at Victoria Square with free activities that included:
· Line up and display of all competing vehicles
· Model solar car and solar boat finals
· Schools program
· Build your own model solar car
· Tesla Cruiser class judging
· Imagination playground
· World Solar Challenge street parade
· Interactive displays
Schneider Electric was also present at the main event village with an exciting competition for a chance to win a $10,000 solar system, featuring the Conext SW inverter/charger.
