The Burnaby Business Excellence Awards provides an opportunity to honour, recognize, and celebrate the businesses and organizations that define innovation and success in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Schneider Electric won the award for their newly constructed, high-power MicroGrid Lab in Burnaby to facilitate the design and testing of its revolutionary SE1 1500V platform for utility scale power plants.  Schneider Electric’s Solar Business has taken home grown British Columbia technology to a global stage and achieved market leadership in several key markets around the world. Schneider Electric’s MicroGrid Lab in Burnaby was officially opened by BC Premier Christy Clark earlier in July.
